Stage Four

A regular check-up for your cross-border finances.

Nothing urgent to fix? A periodic review catches the small issues before they become expensive ones — the same logic as an annual health check-up.

Catching problems while they're still small

Residency rules change. Tax treaties get amended. A policy you bought five years ago may no longer suit your situation. Most of these shifts are minor on their own — until they compound, unnoticed, over several years.

A preventative checkup is the same diagnostic format as our other sessions, but scheduled proactively rather than in response to a specific problem. Many clients now book this the way they'd book an annual physical.

What a checkup covers

  • Account and compliance review — a periodic pass over your accounts, filings and reporting obligations.
  • Change detection — flagging anything in your situation — residency, income, family circumstances — that shifts what's optimal for you.
  • Policy and portfolio review — confirming existing insurance and investments still fit, rather than assuming they still do.
  • A written summary — a short report noting what's fine, what's worth watching, and what needs action.

When you need this

  • It's been over a year since anyone reviewed your accounts, filings or policies as a whole.
  • Your residency, income or family situation has changed since you last took financial advice.
  • You'd simply rather catch issues early than deal with them once they're expensive.

03

Remedial Care

A recommendation on paper doesn't fix anything by itself. Remedial care is where we help you actually implement it.
