A Different Kind of Engagement

Financial diagnosis. A clear prescription. Remedial care.

The NRI Money Clinic borrows a simple idea from medicine: most financial problems, like most health problems, get worse when they're guessed at instead of properly diagnosed. We built a service around getting that first step right.

The Concept

Treated like a proper clinical visit, not a sales call.

Every engagement moves through the same three stages. Where a session reveals nothing urgent, we can also structure it as a preventative checkup instead.

01

Financial Diagnosis

We start by examining your full cross-border picture — income, assets, accounts, prior advice you've received — to identify what's actually going on, not just what you assumed the issue was.

02

Prescriptive Solutions

You receive a specific, written recommendation for your situation: what to do, in what order, and why — not a generic checklist, and not vague directional advice.

03

Remedial Care

Where needed, we stay involved to help implement the fix — coordinating with your bank, CA or lawyer so the prescription actually gets carried out, not just handed over.

+

Preventative Checkups

Nothing acute to fix? Many clients now book the Money Clinic the way they'd book an annual health checkup — a periodic review of accounts, compliance and structure to catch small issues before they become expensive ones. Ask to structure your session this way when you enquire.

Who This Is For

Built for one clear question, not an open-ended plan.

  • An investment opportunity — weighing up a specific fund, offer or opportunity before you commit to it.
  • Conflicting advice — your bank abroad and your CA in India have told you two different things.
  • A one-off event — an inheritance, a residency change, a sudden tax notice.
  • Unresolved uncertainty — you suspect something in your NRE/NRO, insurance or filings isn't quite right.
  • A second opinion — before committing to a large investment, purchase or transfer.
  • Preventative review — nothing's wrong, but it's been a while since anyone checked.

Common Questions

Money Clinic FAQs

What does “subject to acceptance” mean?

₹25,000 is our starting price for a typical single-issue engagement. Some cases are more complex than they first appear; we confirm final scope and fee once we've reviewed what you've shared, before any commitment is made on either side.

How is this different from a full financial plan?

A full engagement covers your entire financial picture on an ongoing basis. The Money Clinic is deliberately narrow — one issue, diagnosed and prescribed for, with no ongoing commitment unless you choose to continue.

Can a Money Clinic session turn into a full engagement?

Yes — if the diagnosis reveals something broader, we'll say so plainly, and you can choose to move into one of our full planning services. There's no obligation to continue.

What does a preventative checkup involve?

The same diagnostic format, but without a specific problem driving it — a periodic review of your accounts, compliance and structure to catch issues early. Ask for this format when you request a session.

Do I need to send documents before the session?

Wherever possible, yes — sharing relevant statements or documents in advance means the session itself can focus entirely on your decision rather than gathering basic facts.

Is this available if I've never been a client before?

Yes — the Money Clinic is often how clients first work with us, precisely because it's a low-commitment way to see how we think before considering anything ongoing.
